Founded in 2018 with just one client, Detroit Body Guards Protection Unit was established by Owner and CEO Daniel Claxton, who has always possessed a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Initially approached to work as a security guard at a Medical Marijuana Dispensary while still employed by another security firm, Daniel’s skills were quickly recognized by others. Through his diligence and commitment to delivering high-quality work, he secured additional security contracts, earning a reputation in the Detroit region as a fair and effective leader.
Known for his willingness to give opportunities to those who are dedicated and attentive, Daniel Claxton has grown DBGPU to employ over 100 individuals, offering services such as a K-9 unit, personal protection, and security to 30 dispensaries across Michigan.
